Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

Defective or Damaged Items: If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the product. We will arrange for a replacement or a refund.

Incorrect Item: If you receive an incorrect item that is different from what you ordered, please notify us at We will correct the issue by sending you the correct item or processing a refund.

Return/Exchange Policy

In-Store merchandise may be returned/exchanged WITHIN 14 DAYS of original purchase date with receipt. Merchandise must be in its original condition. Unworn/unwashed

Online orders may be returned/exchanged WITHIN 21 DAYS of original purchase. Merchandise must be in its original condition. Unworn/unwashed. Return shipping is covered by the customer. For exchanges, return shipping is covered by the customer and The Barnard Store will cover the shipping back to the customer.

Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at or by phone (212) 851-2929.
  2. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and, if applicable, photographs of the defective or damaged item.
  3. We will review your request and provide you with instructions on how to return the item.
  4. [For online orders] Pack the item securely in its original packaging (if possible) and ship it to the provided address. 
  5. Once we receive the returned item and confirm its eligibility, we will process your refund or exchange.
Refund Process

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.
